Our Holiday home, “Villa-Ovelha”, is situated in a suburb of Carvoeiro, on the end of a dead end road, approximately 1.2 Mile from the pleasant down town of Carvoeiro.
It is a villa in Portuguese style with various little stairs, terraces and a small courtyard.
The villa is 130 m2 (155 yd² or 430 ft²) big and has a large living room, 2 large bedrooms with both a bathroom, and a big kitchen.
All thinkable audio-visual and kitchen equipment is available, with a wide collection of CD’s. With the help of a Parabolic antenna most Dutch TV and radio channels are available, as well as other foreign TV and radio channels.

The villa has central heating with radiators in all rooms, as well as a “heater” and “all-burner”.

From on top of the 50 m2 (59 yd² or 719 ft²) large roof terrace you got a wonderful view of the nearby surroundings. On one side of the villa lays a magnificent natural landscape of a few hectare big, located on that is a rustic Portuguese quinta (old-fashioned farm).
You have that same nice view from the kitchen as well.
On the other side of the villa, you have a view on other villa’s that are located all the way down to the beach. Beyond that you see the Atlantic Ocean.
For all your needs, the shops, restaurants, a bus stop, golf courses and a tennis complex are within walking distance.

Despite all those facilities and the wonderful location, the rental prices of the villa are surprisingly low in comparison with other holiday homes in the area.

Onze vakantiewoning, "Villa-Ovelha", is gelegen in een buitenwijk van Carvoeiro, aan het eind van een doodlopende straat, op ruim twee kilometer afstand van het gezellige centrum.
Het is een villa in Portugese stijl met diverse trappetjes, terrassen en een binnenplaatsje.
De villa is 130 m2 groot en heeft een ruime woonkamer, twee ruime slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers en een grote keuken.
Alle denkbare audiovisuele apparatuur en keukenapparatuur is aanwezig, met een ruime collectie cd's. Via een schotelantenne kunnen de meeste Nederlandse, en ook vele buitenlandse, tv- en radiozenders ontvangen worden.

De villa beschikt over een centrale verwarming met radiatoren in alle kamers, een heater en een allesbrander.

Vanaf het 50 m2 grote dakterras heeft u een werkelijk adembenemend uitzicht over de directe omgeving.
Aan de ene kant van de villa ligt een schitterend natuurgebied van enkele hectaren groot, met daarop een rustieke Portugese quinta (ouderwetse boerderij). Ook vanuit de keuken heeft u een mooi zicht hierop. Aan de andere kant kijkt u uit over prachtige villa's die langzaam naar zee afdalen. Daarachter ziet u de Atlantische Oceaan.
Alle voorzieningen, zoals o.a. winkels, restaurants, een bushalte, golfbanen en een tenniscomplex, liggen op loopafstand.
Ondanks alle faciliteiten en de schitterende locatie zijn de huurprijzen van de villa verrassend laag in vergelijking met die van de andere vakantiewoningen uit de omgeving.
